Kili Paul, the Tanzanian content creator who has become a sensation for his lip-syncing videos to Bollywood songs, has done a cover of Sunny Deol’s iconic song ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Le Ke.’ The song has been recreated ahead of the release of Gadar 2. Interestingly, Arijit Singh will lend his voice to the new version of ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Le Ke.’

Kili and his sister Neema Paul wore traditional Indian outfits for the video in which they were seen enacting Udit Narayan’s ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Le Ke’ from Gadar. Posting the video on Instagram, Kili wrote, “90s Bollywood Stars Like @iamsunnydeol Really Made my childhood, watched a lot of Bollywood movies and my dream was to be an actor and now here I’m and I’m pushing to reach my dream and I’m happy to be a part of Bollywood content creator one day dreams will come true…(heart emoji) ..Enjoy this old song.”
Sunny shared the video on his social media page without a caption, but fans flooded the comments section with love and appreciation. One of them wrote, “Gadar is not just a movie it’s an emotion.” Another person commented, “Sunny Deol = legend true star of India.”
For the unversed, Sunny Deol is back with the second instalment of his immensely popular movie Gadar Ek Prem Katha. The film reunites Sunny with Ameesha Patel who also featured in the first film that was released in 2001. Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv Sinha will also be seen in Gadar 2. Filmmaker Anil Sharma directed both films. Anil’s son Utkarsh Sharma played Sunny and Ameesha’s young son in the film and all three actors revive their roles in the upcoming movie.
Gadar 2 is set for a box office clash with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 on August 11.
