Neetu Kapoor, who has returned to acting with Jugjugg Jeeyo, turned a year older on July 8. Keeping her celebrations low-key, the veteran actress gave her social media followers a glimpse into her birthday festivities by sharing a post with her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, son-in-law Bharat Sahani, son Ranbir Kapoor, and granddaughter Samaira Sahani. While the actress rang in her birthday in the picturesque Italy, missing the celebrations was Alia Bhatt, who is busy in India with the promotions of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Neetu Kapoor, in her post, penned a heartfelt note expressing her gratitude towards her family and also revealed that she is missing Alia Bhatt and Raha Kapoor in the frame-worthy photo. In the note posted by Neetu, she wrote, “Beautiful cherished day <3 missed @aliaabhatt #raha ( my loves )”. In the post Riddhima shared, featuring the same photo, she wrote, “Happy Bday Ma <3 We adore you <3 #backboneofthefamily (major missing @aliaabhatt & my baby Raha) #portofino”.
Along with them, a video of Neetu Kapoor’s cake cutting ceremony also found its way online. The entire family gathered around for the same as the actress was seen enjoying her birthday festivities at a plush restaurant in Italy.
While, Alia Bhatt, who too was missing the time with family, took to her platform to express her ‘FOMO’ by reposting Riddhima’s Instagram post on her handle, she dropped a heart emoji on her mother-in-law’s post along with a comment saying, “Love youuuuuuuuuu”. Furthermore, she also penned a birthday note for her saying, “happy birthday queen (queen emoji) you make everything wonderful!!!! love you oh so much!”
Alia Bhatt is currently touring across the country for the promotions of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani along with co-actor Ranveer Singh as well as filmmaker Karan Johar. The film is expected to hit the theatres on July 28.
