EXCLUSIVE: Manav Kaul on Trial Period, “It will make you laugh at one moment and turn your eyes moist the another”
This brings the arrival of the disciplined Prajapati Dwivedi, played by Manav Kaul, into the picture. He turns out to be the complete contradiction of what the mother and her son expected him to be.
Speaking about Trial Period, Kaul said in an exclusive quote, “Trial Period is a very special film for me. It’s a rollercoaster emotional drama, which will make you laugh at one minute while it will also make your eyes moist another moment. Audiences will enjoy watching Prajapati Dwiwedi, a father on rent, as much as I enjoyed while playing it.”
Sharing the reason for coming on board for this film, Kaul added, “I was sold to the belief of Aleya Sen, when she narrated me the script. I submitted myself fully to her vision. I was fully invested in the character as much as Aleya had visioned me of playing a father on Trial Period. I’m eagerly looking forward to all the love that’s going to come our way in the future.”
Manav Kaul was last seen in the movie Jalsa, which starred Vidya Balan in the lead along with Shefali Shah and Rohini Hattangadi. His last web series was The Fame Game, where he starred alongside Madhuri Dixit Nene.
Presented by Jio Studios, Trial Period will release on JioCinema on July 21.
