Ameesha Patel, who is known for love stories like Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, has maintained silence about her real-life love. The actress, who loves to keep personal life private, opened up in a rare candid moment with Bollywood Hungama, wherein she gave her fans a sneak peek into her kind of ideal man.

Although Ameesha Patel continued to assert us about her ‘single’ status, the actress told Bollywood Hungama about her dream Prince Charming as she described, “Well, I think I really need a man who’s smart, intelligent, honest. And I think every girl needs a man who can be a prince and keep you like a princess. In short, a man who can treat you like a princess.”
She continued, “A knight in shining armor in all ways; whether it’s mentally, emotionally, he needs to take care of you, cocoon you, give you any kind of security you need. I think I’ve reached that stage now where there isn’t any casual relationship.” She also added, “First of all, I’ve never been a casual dater or something ki ‘chalo dekhte hain (let’s see) sort of. I’m not known for that. It takes me a lot to get into relationships. I always think if this is a relationship I’m in, then it better last forever. So, with that comes expectations when you want a forever kind of relationship.”
Talking about her professional commitments, Ameesha Patel is currently gearing up for Gadar 2 which is riding high on a lot of expectations. The teaser of the film seems to have won hearts across the country. For the unversed, Gadar 2 takes ahead the story of Tara Singh and Sakeena, 20 years after, where Gadar left off. With Sunny Deol as Ameesha’s husband Tara Singh and Utkarsh Sharma as their son Jeete, the Anil Sharma directorial is set against the 70s backdrop and is slated for a release on August 11.
