It was a decent weekend for 1920: Horrors of the Heart as the collections continued to be stable. No, they were not growing like crazy but since the start itself exceeded expectations at Rs. 2.34 crores (all languages), all that it had to do was not fall from the next day onwards. Since that hasn’t been the case, this Avika Gour led horror film is now in a safe zone.
This can well be seen from the fact that Sunday collections have grown to Rs. 3.01 crores (across languages) and that has pushed the overall total to Rs. 8.07 crores. These kind of numbers are decent for the film, which has been made at a shoestring budget with hardly any investment of marketing or promotion either. Considering all of that, this Krishna Bhatt directed film has turned out to be a smart investment for those who put their money into it.
As for those who have invested in Zara Harke Zara Bachke, they could well be popping a champagne every week, what with the collections now on an upswing when compared to the week before, which by itself was quite good as well. The film was not too far behind 1920: Horrors of the Heart despite being in the fourth week and ended up bringing in Rs. 2.88 crores at the box office. Currently standing at Rs. 79.02 crores, this superhit film will cross Rs. 80 crores milestone today or tomorrow and then it would be the race towards the Rs. 90 mark that would be closely observed.
Note: All collections as per production and distribution sources
